Work with the Next.js export

Download your site as a Next.js project — install, run locally, and deploy wherever you host Next.js apps.

Updated 2026-10-10

For teams with developers, the Next.js export is your site as an actual codebase: an App Router project with your pages, sections, theme and content as files you can keep building on.

02Run it

  1. On your site’s Manage page, choose “Download Next.js project (.zip)” and unzip it.
  2. Install Node.js 20 or newer.
  3. In the project folder run npm install, then npm run dev, and open http://localhost:3000.
  4. When you’re ready, npm run build produces a production build for any Next.js host.

03Requirements

Code export is included on every paid plan (Starter and up). Sites imported as a faithful copy export as HTML only.

TipOnce you change the code outside CurateOne, those changes live in your codebase — edits you make later inside CurateOne apply to the CurateOne project, not your downloaded copy.
